Michael Burns

Michael has been serving in a pastoral role in a variety of ways since 2002. He is currently serving the people of the Juniata, Susquehanna and Lehigh Valleys in Central Pennsylvania as a consultant, speaker, counselor, and youth advocate. burned by God has been a working vision and has come to life in July of 2009. burned by God is a calling to free, equip and mobilize this generation while preparing for the King's return. Michael is a dynamic, straight forward and zealous speaker with a way of communicating that is unique, Word driven and Holy Spirit empowered.
In the past, Michael served with and was recognized by Teen Mania Ministries and Battle Cry in 2007 as one of the leading youth pastors impacting this generation on the east coast. To sit with him or hear him teach, you learn that he has been burned by God to raise up a generation that says no to the world and yes to God.
In addition to burned by God, Michael has served and worked for PA Treatment and Healing as a safe crisis management trainer and crisis/D&A counselor. He too has been served for nine seasons as a college Lacrosse coach for Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA.
Michael received his Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America in 1998 and than graduated from Whittier College in Whittier, CA with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Development. In 2013 Michael graduated with a Masters in Theological Studies through Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary of Lynchburg, VA. Currently Michael serves as Executive Director at Join Hands Ministry in Perry County.
Michael lives in Sunbury, PA with his wife, Lauri, their daughter Addison and son Thaddeus.

Michael grew up in his earlier years by attending St. Christopher's Catholic Church Kent Island, MD. It was around 7th grade when he had friends that invited him to attend Youth Group at Kent Island United Methodist Church also on Kent Island, MD. During his time one of his youth workers took him and some other youth to a Baptist Church in Annapolis, MD. At that church was the place where his journey with the Lord began. From 7th to 12th grade he studied under youth workers at Kent Island United Methodist Church. Once he went to college at Whittier College in Whittier, CA he learned from Southland Community Church in Highland Park, CA about the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and the awesomeness of the Word of God.

Kelli serves as youth pastor at Grace Covenant Community Church in Middleburg, PA. Kelli lives in Middleburg, PA with her husband Matt, daughter McKenzi, and son Evan. They have been attending Grace Covenant Community Church for the last thirteen years. Kelli and Mike Burns started ignite Youth Conference together in 2010 as a way to unite youth and youth ministries to gather together for a high quality but inexpensive one day event.
